How it works isn't an easy task to try and explain. The best way is to say... magic! For anybody looking for a little more detail, keep reading. The beauty of the Terrafox AVHS system is that the cameras reach out and push the video to the Terrafox servers. Using this push technology, it allows the zero configuration in network equipment such a routers and firewalls. Once the video has been pushed to the Terrafox servers, it then can be recorded and pulled back down by end devices such as mobile phones, computers and laptops. Once you have a Terrafox account and registered your camera with us, here is how to activate your camera and get your video started.
-
Click the button located on the backside of the Axis network camera.
-
The camera connects to AVHS dispatch service.
-
The AVHS server sends the dispatch service a request to connect to the camera.
-
The dispatch service reconfigures the camera be connected to the AVHS server.
-
The camera connects to the AVHS server via an encrypted tunnel.
-
That's it! You can now retrieve camera images from the AVHS server.
So once you provide us with the serial number of your camera and a few other details, plug the camera into your network, click the button on the back.. and magic. Your video is now available!
